1. How billing works
Monthly plans are charged monthly, in advance, in United States dollars, and renew until you cancel. Some items are charged per use instead — a contract verification is billed per contract, deep verification and the reasoning panel are billed per run — and the pricing page says which is which before you buy. Payment runs through Stripe.
2. Cancelling
Cancel at any time from the billing portal, reachable from the pricing page once you are signed in. No notice period, no cancellation fee, and no need to write to anyone.
When you cancel, access continues until the end of the period already paid for. The next renewal does not happen.
3. Refunds
- A month already started is not refunded on a pro-rata basis. You keep access until the end of it.
- A per-use charge is refunded when the run produced no report because of a fault on Sentinelleai's side. If a run produced a report, the charge stands even where you disagree with what the report found.
- A charge you did not authorise, or a duplicate, is refunded in full. Tell us and it is returned.
Beyond those cases we will still look at what happened. A refund granted outside this page is a decision on that case, not a change to this policy.
4. Cancelling a protection
Auto-pause, site lockdown and host containment stop being billed the same way as any other subscription. Cancelling stops the billing; it does not disarm anything on your side for you. Disarm the protection and remove the agent from your host, or it keeps running against a subscription you no longer hold.
A protection that already acted — a contract paused, a site locked, a process stopped — is not undone by cancelling, and reopening remains your action, as the consent you signed for it states.
5. If a charge looks wrong
Write to info@sentinelleai.app within 30 days of the invoice, with the invoice number. We would rather settle it directly than through a chargeback, which costs both of us more and takes longer.
6. Trials and free use
There is no automatic trial that converts into a paid subscription. If a trial or a free period is agreed with you, what it covers and when it ends is put in writing first, and nothing starts being charged without you subscribing.
